Chibuike David Obi got his BS in Biochemistry from Madonna University, Nigeria. Afterward, he pursued and received an MS in Chemistry from Tennessee State University. In 2017, he enrolled in the Integrated Life Sciences program at UGA and later joined Dr. Medlock’s lab for his doctoral studies. His research projects, centered on heme metabolism and regulation, cut across the fields of proteomics and metabolomics, structural biology, drug discovery and design. He enjoys playing soccer and going on road trips.
