Dr. Medlock received her BS in Chemistry from Erskine College in 1994. She then joined the laboratory of Harry A. Dailey as a trainee in the NSF funded Center for Metalloenzyme Studies at the University of Georgia where she completed her Ph.D in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2000. Dr. Medlock continued her training as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Georgia and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Dr. Medlock joined the faculty of the University of Georgia in 2009. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with her primary teach at the Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership.
