"Success" in prison-based educational programs is typically measured by recidivism. But this method focuses more on failure than it does on success. That's why University of Georgia researchers are partnering with Prison Fellowship to conduct a multi-year evaluation of Prison Fellowship's Tier-2 Academy experience, with the goal of developing a more encompassing Good Citizenship Assessment Model that goes beyond recidivism to demonstrate the change that people who are incarcerated achieve.
