More About Our Personnel
Research Interests: Flexible instrumental behavior (problem-solving), manipulation, foraging and feeding in primates. I consider the developmental bases of flexible behavior, perception-action foundations of skill, and the contribution of social learning and social context to the expression of flexible behavior.
Research Interests: Behavioral biology, comparative cognition, animal tool use, comparative neuroanatomy, evolutionary biology, and physical anthropology.
Research Interests: Wildlife management and conservation, population ecology, avian ecology and behavior, landscape ecology, conservation genetics. My research encompasses the ecology and behavior of avian species, such as the Red-and-green macaw (Ara chloropterus) and the Ruffed grouse (Bonasa umbellus), and their interactions with changing landscapes.
