Interested in being a part of UGA research aimed at helping older adults stay independent longer? We currently are recruiting for a study evaluating driving training and cognitive training in older adults:

Volunteers needed for a research study on driving traiing and functional ability in older adults

Description: UGA researchers are recruiting adult volunteers between the ages of 65-78 for a study to see if different versions of concentrated driving simulation training and cognitive training increase the ability of older adults to stay functionally healthy.

Criteria: Between 65- 85 years old, no significant neurological history.


-- 2 baseline sessions (interviewing, cognitive testing, physical activity assessments, MRI scanning, finger stick).

-- 12, 1-hr training sessions (4 weeks, 3 days per week) of active driving simulation.

-- 1 post training assessment.

Notes: A small cash stipend will be provided as well as a UGA souvenir!
