Graduate Students

Information for prospective graduate students to the UGA Industrial Organizational Psychology Program can be found at the following two websites: UGA Graduate School Application Information and UGA I/O Graduate Program Application Information.

Undergraduate Students or Alumni

Those interested in working in the lab should fill out an application here.

This tool can be used to calculate your GPA.

The next stage of the application process involves a behavioral interview. Preference is given to those with a GPA of 3.4 or higher. Research assistants are required to commit 9 hours a week and can apply for up to 3 credits of PSYC 4800 and 4850 per semester. Registering for course credit is optional.

During the fall and spring semesters, one hour of the time commitment involves attending a weekly lab meeting or watching the meeting online.  Meetings include information on applying to graduate school and professional development, and lab work involves data collection and coding work.

Students or alumni do not necessarily have to be affiliated with UGA.  All are welcome to apply, and there are no application deadlines.

Applicants who could add diversity to our lab our highly encouraged to apply.
