The UGA Mycology Graduate Student Organization is proud to host the first Southeastern Mycology Symposium (SEMS), a Genetics Society of America career development symposium. This exciting one-day event will take place on Friday, March 30, 2018 in the Paul D. Coverdell Center for Biomedical and Health Sciences at the University of Georgia.
The theme of SEMS 2018 is Fungal Interactions. The scientific program features renowned speakers from across the country that will highlight diverse areas of fungal biology. Attendees, especially graduate students, undergraduate students, and post-doctoral associates, are invited to present posters. We will be selecting two relevant posters for short talks. You can indicate your interest in presenting a poster or giving a talk at the registration link below.
Due to generous funding from the Genetics Society of America, UGA Departments of Genetics, Microbiology, Plant Biology, UGA Office of Research, and UGA Graduate School, registration is FREE and includes lunch and refreshments.
